ABOUT

MISSION AND HISTORY
Family at a Beach

DFFI’S mission is to prevent institutions from overlooking a child’s educational and social abilities. It also supports families and individuals in crisis. DFFI envisions a society that embraces individuals' complexities and appreciates the diversity and needs of a family or individuals at work or at play.

Founded in 1998, DFFI has spent years safeguarding the rights of individuals and families who need access to legal support, information, education, and other resources to successfully manage everyday crises and challenges. We provide personal and business resource connections, as well as augment the voices and actions of those with the greatest needs.
